Quattro Parts Centre (QVC) – Returns, Refund & Shipping Policy


This policy serves to outline the conditions under which customers at Quattro Parts Centre (Also referred to as ‘QVC’/’Quattro Vanos Cooper’) can return purchased items and obtain refunds. It’s an essential component of our e-commerce operations, providing clarity and assurance to our customers while protecting the interests of our company.

I. Scope and Applicability

This policy governs all purchases made through the QVC online store. It’s relevant to every product bought unless explicitly stated otherwise.

II. Sale of Goods

As per the Secondhand Goods Act of South Africa, the purchase of any goods from Quattro Parts Centre (QVC) requires the presentation of positive identification. This can be in the form of a Company Registration document or a valid Identity Document. By making a purchase, the customer agrees to this clause and is obliged to provide the necessary identification documentation when contacted.

III. Definitions

  • “Return”: The act of giving back a purchased item.
  • “Refund”: The reimbursement of the cost of a product returned to QVC.
  • “Defective”: A product is considered defective if it does not function as stated or expected.

IV. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

Customers are entitled to returns and refunds if:

  • The item was purchased within the last 30 days.
  • They are able to provide the original invoice.
  • The item has not been tampered with or modified in any way.
  • All original packaging is included & it is in its original condition.

V. Return and Refund Process

  1. Customers should initiate the return process by contacting QVC.
  2. They will be asked to provide relevant documentation, including the original invoice.
  3. Information about return shipping and other relevant procedures will be provided.
  4. The customer is liable for shipping costs when sending an item back to us if the item is not defective & a refund is wanted.
  5. QVC will incur shipping costs for defective items.

VI. Inspection and Approval

Upon receipt of a returned item, it will be inspected by QVC to determine its eligibility for a refund. Approvals or rejections will be decided based on all the conditions stated in section IV.

VII. Refund Methods and Timing

If approved, refunds will be processed using the same payment method used during the purchase. The refund process may take some time, and customers will be informed about this. Please expect a wait time of approximately 3-10 working days from the date the item is received for us to inspect and issue a refund.

VIII. Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items

There may be circumstances in which items are exempted from returns or refunds. Such limitations will be communicated to the customers and/or mentioned in the product descriptions.

IX. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are required to ensure the returned product is safely packaged with its original packaging (if any) and should ensure that the item is in its original condition. They are also accountable for the shipping charges unless the item is defective.

X. Company’s Rights and Disclaimers

QVC reserves the right to reject a return if the product has been tampered with. QVC will not be liable for any labour charges or additional costs incurred during the return process. Additionally, QVC shall not be held liable for any labour cost or costs incurred while repairing a vehicle.

Shipping Policy

I. Introduction

We’ve created a shipping policy to ensure transparency and reliability in delivering our products.

Our goal is to provide fast, efficient, and affordable shipping services to all of our customers.

II. Shipping Methods and Timeframes

A. Our primary shipping method is standard shipping across major and national cities.

B. The estimated delivery timeframe will be displayed at checkout but is generally between 2-5 working days (holidays, natural disasters, protests, etc., may cause delays).

C. Delivery times may vary due to holidays, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

III. Order Processing and Handling

A. Our processing time varies, but we strive to have your order dispatched as soon as possible. Generally, we dispatch orders within 24-48 hours of purchase (excl. weekends/holidays).

B. We ensure our products are properly packaged for transit to protect their quality and integrity.

IV. Shipping Rates and Fees

A. Shipping is free for city-to-city deliveries with a minimum spend of R300, and the package weight does not exceed 5kg.

B. For orders weighing more than 5kg, shipping charges apply and will be displayed at checkout.

C. For customers in outlying areas, additional charges may apply. If you are not from a major city, please contact us so that we may check if your area falls under ‘outlying area’, requiring an additional surcharge.

V. Tracking and Notifications

A. Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking code which can be used on our shipping partner’s website.

B. We send updates about the status of your order through emails.

VI. Legal Disclaimers and Limitations

A. Please note that the products are not insured. Quattro Parts Centre (QVC) will not be held liable for any damage or loss of products once they have been handed over to the courier service. The customer assumes this risk. We will, however, assist in tracking your package with the courier company.

B. The company will not accept responsibility for delivery delays due to factors beyond the company’s control.

C. All customers, upon placement of an order, are agreed to comply with the terms and conditions related to shipping, returns & refunds policy.
